This is your "Store Policies" page. It should clearly and concisely tell your visitors what they can expect when making a purchase with you.

Payments

I accept Paypal payments only.

Payment is due at time of placing your order.

Please e-mail me if you are experiencing any difficulty in making payment.

You can pay via credit card using Paypal without setting up an account. Check out www.paypal.com for more information.

Goods will be posted after I have received notification from Paypal that your payment has been received and cleared.

 

Shipping

I will endeavor to dispatch all orders within 1 - 2 working days of receiving notification of cleared payment from Paypal for your order.

UK:
Items with a value less than £50 will be sent by First Class Post.
Items valued over £50.00 will be sent Special Delivery Next Day.

International
Items with a value less than £50 will be sent Airmail
Items valued over £50.00 will be sent International Signed For

Items sent via 'Special Delivery', 'International Signed-for' can be tracked whilst in the UK and include insurance.
Items sent by Airsure can be tracked to delivery and are insured but do not require a signature on delivery.

I am unable to ship on Saturdays, Sundays or UK public holidays. I cannot be held responsible for delays in delivery once the package has been passed to Royal Mail or for delays in delivery due to circumstances beyond our control such as postal strikes, Christmas holiday period when deliveries are always slower. Should an exceptional event occur we will inform you of this at the time of purchase or as soon as we become aware of it.

I am based in the United Kingdom, International deliveries take time. The Royal Mail website states that deliveries to the rest of Europe should be between 2 - 3 working days and everywhere else between 5 and 7 working days.

Please note that orders placed outside of the EU may be liable for customs duty/import taxes on delivery, this is beyond my control as are any delays in delivery due to customs interventions. Payment of such customs amounts are the responsibility of the person the package is addressed to.

 

Returns

Customer Service is my priority. If there are any problems with your order please contact me as soon as possible so that I may resolve them to your complete satisfaction.

All items will be sent to you properly packaged and in perfect condition. If, however you find the goods to be faulty please notify me by email detailing the problem within 7 days of receipt. Then return the item to me and I will provide a replacement or a full refund as requested along with your postage costs where applicable. It is advised that you obtain the minimum of a certificate of posting from the Post Office (or overseas equivalent) as I cannot be held responsible for returned goods lost in transit.

I am happy to exchange or credit/refund for any items you are not satisfied with (less shipping paid) if you notify me by email of your decision on receipt and the items are returned immediately and no longer than 7 days after receipt unused, in their original sealed packaging in perfect condition for resale. Please quote your original order number on the package.
 It is advised that you obtain the minimum of a certificate of posting from the Post Office (or overseas equivalent) as I can not be held responsible for goods lost in transit. Please note the returning customer is responsible for payment of return postage. Please also note that the occasional de-stash item will only be returnable if found to be faulty - in such instances this information will be clearly indicated in the item description. With that exception only we operate within the key EU Distance Selling Regulations of returns, for any reason, are acceptable within 7 days and have applied to this to worldwide purchases ie not just to those destined for the EU.

Please note that we are unable to accept returns of specialist items made to order without prior agreement from us.

 

Additional Information

Descriptions etc -. Are as accurate as possible. All sizes are listed as approximate but in reality are measured. All photographs are as accurate as possible as are colours. Please allow for differences in colours on individual monitors. Should you not be happy on receipt of an item you can return that item - please see the returns information above.

Packaging - All products are wrapped and shipped in brand new packaging. I like my customers to receive everything brand new, also re-used envelopes are more likely to be damaged during a second shipping. I fully support re-cycling in my home but do not think re-cycled packaging is a suitable way to ship glass beads.
 
I use cardboard shipping boxes, bubble wrap, wadding, tissue paper and jiffy type padded envelopes for shipping and take great care to package my beads and jewellery for safe carraige.
